The Glen

A dedicated ceremony meadow below the main venue. A single lane winds through native grasses to shaded seating under a grove of cottonwoods, an oversized flagstone aisle, and an altar framed by handcrafted cathedral windows.

  • Up to 200 guests seated, on either side of the aisle
  • Shade from the cottonwood grove in the afternoon
  • Carriage, hay wagon or a short walk down the lane

Pavilion, patio & hearth

The barn-style Pavilion opens onto a custom-built patio with a grand stone fireplace, a pergola and a checkerboard dance floor. Market lights run above it all and can continue over the events lawn as a dining canopy, or the lawn takes a tent.

  • Up to 200 for dinner in the Pavilion or a 40′ × 60′ tent

    Guests ride a carriage or hay wagon down the single lane, or walk the path through native grasses to the meadow below the venue.

    Back up the hill to the pergola-covered patio and the grand stone fireplace while the photographer takes you out into the prairie light.

One package, the whole property: in season, $6,500 to $9,500 on Fridays and Saturdays and $6,000 to $9,000 on Sundays for 100 to 200 guests (guide, 2022 sales kit).

How many guests can Cottonwood Glen hold?

Up to 200 guests for a seated ceremony in The Glen and up to 200 for dinner in the Pavilion or a tent on the lawn. The Grand Patio holds 250 standing for cocktails.

When is wedding season?

June 1 to October 15. Other celebrations, corporate days and fundraisers are welcome all year, with up to 75 guests outside the season.

What does a wedding package include?

A 10-hour rental with six hours of event time, tables and chairs, the Bridal Suite and Groom’s Retreat, The Glen, Grand Patio, fireplace and Events Lawn, market lights, parking, the VIP area, on-site coordination and an engagement photo session.

Can we bring our own caterer or bar?

Food, beverage and rentals come from our preferred partners, who all specialise in off-site catering. Peak Beverage runs the bar with trained, uniformed bartenders. Photographers, florists, music and every other vendor are your choice.

Do we need a wedding planner?

Yes. A professional planner is required for day-of coordination or full service. Bring your own, or we can refer you.

How do we hold a date?

After a short introduction we send a proposal. If it fits, we tour together and hold the date for up to seven days. A signed contract and a 50% deposit secure it (some dates need a higher deposit).

What if it rains?

The Pavilion is covered, the pergola shades part of the patio, and the lawn takes a tent. Your planner and our team agree a weather plan with you before the day.

How do guests get from the venue to The Glen?

A single lane runs down to the meadow, so guests can walk the path or ride a carriage, hay wagon or other vehicle. Ask us about the current transport options.

Come and see it at golden hour.

Tours take about 40 minutes, Tuesday to Sunday. Pick a time online and we meet you by the pavilion.
